Occupational Therapy: Treatment in the Fields of Pediatrics, Neurology & Geriatrics

Pädiatrie

Pediatrics

In therapeutic work with children, it is particularly important to look closely and take time. My treatment therefore begins with a detailed discussion with the parents and getting to know the child.

An occupational therapy report enables us to make a more precise assessment of your child's need for therapy. The findings can be supported by video analysis.

In some cases, it is also helpful to involve the child's environment. I am therefore happy to offer cooperation with educators and teachers.

Treatment of

Neurological Diseases

In my occupational therapy work, I help people with diseases and disorders of the central or peripheral nervous system. After the occupational therapy findings, we determine the therapy goals together.

For example, after a stroke. The focus of the therapy here is, for example, on improving perception and actively relearning movement sequences.

If cognitive processes are particularly affected, I use neuropsychological treatment methods such as concentration or memory training.

The treatment takes place in our rooms or, if necessary, as a house call.

Geriatrie

Geriatrics

As an occupational therapist, I help older people to maintain their independence.

In a typical treatment, my goal is to maintain the highest possible quality of life - to be able to cope with everyday life on my own for as long as possible, to move around without help, to keep busy and to exchange ideas with other people.

The treatment takes place in the practice or, if necessary, as a home visit.
